Projects & Operations Manager
Basic function
Feghali Brothers LLC is looking for a reliable Projects & Operations Manager to plan and manage construction and home & buildings automation projects and oversee their progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner. Also, the candidate is required to lead the organization to expand it is operations to the Middle East and specifically to UAE. You will be responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation and scheduling of the projects as well as the optimization of the processes and workflows
Duties and responsibilities
- Monitors and manages expenditures assigned to the forecasting needs in manpower, materials, vehicles and equipment.
- Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion
- Provide construction management for the projects and coordinate with owners, engineers and architects
- Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
- Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations

- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
- Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory
- Review and coordinate all material submittals and equipment specifications
- Meet contractual conditions of performance
- Review the work progress on daily basis
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
- Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses
- Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
- Manage manpower distribution planning, performance and well-being.
- Monitor, assess and guide the performance of staff members.
- Develop policies, procedures and instructions necessary to ensure effective planning, operation and control of the department’s activities
- Develop documentation necessary to ensure effective control of health, safety and environmental aspects of all activities and promote HSE awareness within the department
- Ensures quality & safety within functions/ tasks performed by him and staff reporting to him.
- Reviews effectiveness of the QHSE system on a regular basis
- Responsible for exercising due diligence towards the environment, health & safety of self & others in the organization
- Responsible for complying with the applicable HSE procedures, instructions, requirements, laws, regulations from customers, regulatory and statutory bodies and those applicable to his/her job requirements
- Responsible for reporting to his/her superiors’ occurrences, events, violations and acts that may affect the environment, health, safety and company reputation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction, assets delivery and home automation and building management systems projects
- Required bachelor’s degree in mechanical / Civil Engineering
- Preferred master’s degree in industrial engineering
- Required Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified
- Languages: Fluent in English and Arabic
- GCC Experience (UAE) required
- 50% travel time to other states and GCC countries (UAE)
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
- Expert knowledge of building products, home automation and building management systems devices, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
- Familiarity with construction management software packages
- Competent in conflict and crisis management
- Leadership and human resources management skills
- Excellent time and project management skills
