A Louisiana statewide public retirement system with $2+ billion in assets is hiring a benefits manager.
Starting Salary:
Salary Range $41,000-$87,000
Salary Based on Years of Experience and Credentials
Employee Health Insurance Paid by Employer
Employee Life Insurance Paid by Employer

Qualifications:
Baccalaureate degree plus 4 years benefits experience
6 years full-time work experience in the field of employee benefits may be substituted for the required baccalaureate degree
Experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Microsoft Power Point a plus
Examples of Work:
Supervises benefits department
Processes regular retirement, disability, and survivor benefits
Provides counseling to members and retirees
Provides in-person and Zoom educational sessions to membership groups throughout the state
Assists in preparing policies and regulations affecting retirement benefits and membership issues
Confers with government officials, municipal staff, actuaries, accountants and lawyers
